Aleks has been with SHR since the start, having joined our founding company, Principal People back in 2013, he initially specialised purely within Health & Safety recruitment across commercial property and corporate markets. He then moved into the Social Housing sector in 2016, placing technical Health, Safety, Fire & Compliance roles for Principal People. Having built a strong reputation in the H&S Housing market and seeing the opportunity to expand and grow into other areas, in 2017 Aleks, Josh & Simon founded Social Housing Recruitment as a separate subsidiary of the PP group. Aleks’s ambitions now are to continue to grow and scale SHR to become the ‘go to’ recruiter for the Social Housing sector.

Outside of work Aleks can often be found running or spending time with his family.

Charlotte

Charlotte joined in 2019 and is the Head of Finance. Since joining she has been a great asset to the team, leading the finance team and ensuring the smooth running and profitability of the business.

Outside of work you'll find her at the side of a football pitch, watching her 2 boys play most weekends. She also loves going out for dinner with friends and family when she can.

Reece

Reece joined our founding company, Principal People initially back in 2016, having come from a marketing and events background. Reece had also been a Chef and is the ‘go to’ in the office for any culinary or recipe advice! Initially having working within the corporate markets, Reece soon worked through the ranks at PP to become a true expert within his field. Reece moved over to SHR in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. He currently leads our Delivery Team, acting as a key account manager for a selection of larger clients and candidates.

Outside of work Reece is an avid golfer, currently playing off a handicap of 3. Please reach out to him if you fancy a game! You can often find him exploring through the countryside with his dog, Hugo.

Bradley joined the SHR team after leading the Public Sector permanent division for over 5 years. Having joined our founding company, Principal People back in 2015, he initially specialised purely within Health, Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental and Quality recruitment across the public sector. Having built a strong reputation in the H&S Sector, he saw the opportunity to expand and grow within a rapidly expanding team.

Growing up in the Caribbean, Bradley is a passionate and engaging individual who likes to spend his time being active playing football, cricket or at the Gym outside of work.

Bekka Head

Bekka joined Social Housing Recruitment in October 2021, and has since been promoted to Marketing and Support Lead. This entails leading the Support Team with general administration and tasks for the team, and she also manages of the Marketing side of things for SHR.

Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her dog, Milo and husband, going on long dog walks through the countryside. She also likes spending time with friends and socialising. In her spare time she enjoys being creative, painting and crafting.

Gareth joined us in April 2023 as a Delivery Consultant, working closely with Reece Rowden to strengthen our candidate and client services.

Outside of work you can often find him watching or playing rugby, or walking his dog, stopping off at the pub to socialise with friends.

Charlotte has recently joined us as a Delivery Consultant, working closely with Reece and Gareth to strengthen our candidate delivery team. She was previously in a similar role within recruitment, working a variety of roles within an assortment of different industries.

Outside of work you will often find her going out to dinner with friends and family, and she also enjoys a bit of shopping!

Adam joined in September 2022 as an Associate Consultant, and has since gone on to be promoted to Consultant, focusing on our permanent recruitment division, specialising in roles within Repairs & Maintenance.

Outside of work you can often find him working out at the gym, playing football and socialising with his friends.

Sophie

Sophie joined the team in October 2023 on an apprenticeship as a Team Support Administrator, working closely with Bekka to grow and strengthen our Support & Marketing team, whilst helping with a variation of general administration tasks.

Outside of work Sophie regularly attends a range of gym classes including Pilates and Spin! In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and reading a good crime book.

Rosie

Rosie joined February 2020 and is the Credit Control Manager. Her role entails managing the Credit Control process, ensuring invoices are settled promptly and efficiently, building relationships with new and existing clients and recovering unpaid debts. Although certain processes and procedures need to be undertaken on a regular basis, she enjoys how varied her role is.

She has 2 daughters, who are 10 and 14, and she also has 2 dogs, a Chihuahua and a Chorkie, so between them she is kept very busy. She is also currently working towards a Diploma in Credit Management. She enjoys spending time with friends, meeting the for lunch or the cinema.

Jacquie joined back in September 2021 as our Finance Assistant, which entails supporting the team to ensure the finance function runs smoothly.

Jacquie is engaged with 3 lovely children, and also has a gorgeous bulldog. She's currently studying to become fully AAT qualified and enjoys spending her weekends meeting up with friends and family.
